How to request deletion

Email hello@wedsy.in from the email address associated with your Wedsy account, or from the phone number or Instagram account you contacted us on, with the subject line "Data deletion request". Tell us which account or conversation the request relates to so we can identify your records.

We will acknowledge your request within 7 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will confirm by email once it is done.

What we delete

• Your account and profile details
• Your enquiry and booking records
• Messages you have exchanged with us on WhatsApp or Instagram
• Any files or images you have shared with us

What we may keep

We may retain a limited amount of information where the law requires it — for example invoices and tax records, which Indian law requires us to keep for a set period — or where we need it to resolve a dispute or enforce an agreement. We will tell you if this applies to your request.

Businesses connecting an Instagram account

If your business has connected an Instagram professional account to Wedsy OS, disconnecting that account from your dashboard removes the connection and the access token we hold for it. Conversations already received from your clients are retained as business records; to have those removed as well, email us using the process above.
