But after spending some time here, that old-school vibe became one of the things I liked the most. The hotel has a calm, elegant, and premium feel. I've had the pleasure of staying for a week at The Zuri, Whitefield in Bengaluru during a business trip, and apart from what you would usually expect from a 5 star hotel, which is lavish rooms and all the amenities, it was the service and behavior of the staff that I really loved. During my stay, I had daily interactions with housekeeping staff Hilal, Pawan, Manisha, Yashoda, Pranav and Vikash and needless to say these folks were really well behaved, super polite and really good at their job. I stayed at The Zuri for 6 nights - the housekeeping team at The Zuri Whitefield was excellent. Special thanks to Manisha and Vikas for their great attitude and consistent service throughout my 6-night stay. Unfortunately, that was the only highlight. The breakfast restaurant staff clearly need better training - despite having breakfast there on 5 mornings, there was almost zero interaction or personalized service. This lack of attention feels like a management issue, particularly around proper staff training and service standards as the issue is not limited to one or two people. We just stayed here last week. Disappointing experience... The rooms looked old, though clean...unwelcoming, carpets old frayed. We had to ask for fresh towels every day. We paid 5 star rates not to beg/remind for towels!! There was an ironing board but no iron in the room, so we requested for it, they sent it to us, but took it back...! so we had to request for it again the next day !! Was there only one iron making rounds in this so called 5 star hotel?? Lighting in the room is depressing!! Attention is given to some crazy kind of chandeliers instead of practical stuff! Lovely stay at The Zuri Hotel. The hotel is located at a great location making everything really convenient and accessible. The hotel staff is great! Housekeeping, kitchen and in general the staff is very sweet and very friendly. Manisha and Rubina have made sure the room is always top notch and they always make sure our special requests are delivered! Waiters in the restaurant are very polite and Mr. Vikas (one of the managers in the restaurant) has always been really welcoming in accommodating our special requests for food preps during our fasting days.
